Gertrude
Stein with Virgil Thomson
Three Sisters Who Are Not Sisters reads like a rhythmic, gothic
fairy tale. Updated to the current time period, the story follows several
children at play - and the often dark places where their imaginations
lead. Video, designed by Ethan Hoerneman, will play a prominent role in
the work with some footage coming from archival sources and some being
shot with the actors and singers involved in the production.
Directed by Tom Dean | musical director, Mark D. Lew |
